SafeTeensOnline ambassador Basel Awwad talks about the importance of App updates for protecting ones online safety. In the video Basel demonstrates that all teenagers follow safe online practices the same way as wearing a fencing mask during a fencing practice. As part of SafeTeensOnline "How to Video Series" initiative one of our ambassadors Irene Feng created video tutorial in both English and Chinese on device security while away.  Irene is a freshman at Stuart Country Day School which is in Princeton. In her own words Irene said the reason for joining SafeTeensOnline mission is " Since so many people use and rely on the Internet to learn, chat, or have fun, they should also gain the knowledge of some online danger and how to prevent or deal with it".

 SafeTeensOnline was selected as regional finalist at the New Jersey Science and Humanities Symposium. Vineeth Veeramachaneni presented his research on cyber security behaviors among teenagers at the 2018 New Jersey Junior Science & Humanities Symposium at Rutgers University. The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program is jointly sponsored by the US Departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, in cooperation with leading research universities.

SafeTeensOnline started its video channel where ambassadors share their personal experiences as well as how to instructions on various cyber security topics. This encourages students to learn best practices and motivates their peers to be part of cyber awareness culture.

To understand teen's online behavior and cyber security awareness initiatives at various schools SafeTeensOnline ambassadors conducted an online survey . 

400 students from 31 different schools participated in the above survey. Survey demographics are equally represented by male and female students, and 69% of respondents mentioned they spend more than four hours daily online. 90% of students use e-mail, texting and social media to communicate with their friends. 70% of respondents mentioned they received awareness training on cyberbullying, passwords, and social media privacy....
